Common questions about the box.
What's actually in the box each month?+
Six things: a signature treat, a toy chosen for the month's theme, a natural chew or specialty snack, a seasonal care item (paw balm, cooling bandana, etc.), an Erie-themed insert (map, calendar, or discount card to a local dog business), and a founder's note. Typical retail value is $55-65.
What's the founder discount exactly?+
Founding members get the first box for $25 (vs $40 standard) and lock in $35/month forever (vs $40 standard) for as long as their subscription stays active. There are only 10 founder spots total - once they're gone, they're gone.
When does my card get charged if I reserve?+
Not today. You're holding your founder spot only. We'll email you when our first box is ready to ship - usually 4-6 weeks after launch - and you can confirm and pay at that point. If you change your mind before then, nothing has been charged.
How do you deliver?+
Within Erie city + Millcreek, we hand-deliver. No shipping fees, no waiting for a truck. Boxes go out the first Saturday of each month. If you're outside Erie county, ask us - we may add shipping options later.
What sizes do you offer?+
Two sizes: Small (under 25 lbs) and Medium/Large (25+ lbs). Treats and toys are sized to match. If you have multiple dogs of different sizes, let us know in your reservation and we'll suggest the right approach.
What if my dog has allergies?+
Tell us when you reserve and we'll note it on your account. Common allergens (chicken, beef, wheat, peanut) are easy to swap. Severe allergies may require a custom note - email gooddogerie@outlook.com.
Can I cancel or skip a month?+
Yes. Cancel anytime with one click. Skip a month with one click. We don't lock you into anything. As long as you stay active, your founder rate stays locked.
Are the products safe?+
We source from Pennsylvania makers and reputable suppliers. No rawhide, no imported jerky, no products with xylitol or other dog-toxic ingredients. Everything is tested by Lulu and Tarpon before it gets in a box.
What if my dog doesn't like something?+
Email us. We'll either swap it in next month's box or credit you. We're a small operation and we'd rather hear about it than have you cancel.
What if I want to give the box as a gift?+
Gift options are coming soon. For now, email gooddogerie@outlook.com and we'll set it up manually.
